GOPA-DERD's Team Implements Specialized Training in Idlib: Mainstreaming Protection in Humanitarian Response
GOPA-DERD’s team concluded a specialized training in Idlib Governorate, on Protection Mainstreaming principles in humanitarian action. This took place in cooperation with DKH.
The five-day training brought together representatives from 28 humanitarian organizations and associations operating in Idlib Governorate and its rural, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the Directorate of International Cooperation. The training focused on protection mainstreaming standards, mechanisms for integrating them into the design and implementation of humanitarian programs, as well as strengthening community resilience and cohesion.
This training comes as part of GOPA-DERD’s ongoing efforts to build the capacity of local personnel and organizations, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of humanitarian response and programs and maximizing their impact on local communities.
