In Al-Raml Al-Jonoubi in Latakia, which is considered one of the most affected neighborhoods by the 6th February earthquake disaster , the new bread production line of Al-Gharraf bakery is working to provide bread to more than 25 thousand families in and around the area, after GOPA-DERD’s team completed the project of restoration and rehabilitation of the bakery. The production increased to 10,000 bundles of bread per day, after restructuring the bakery, providing a new production line, increasing the length of the cooling line as well to ensure proper cooling of the bread, as well as providing industrial tools, an air compressor, and an electric generator. This took place in cooperation with ZOA.
