After completing its restoration and rehabilitation works, Al-Maliha Bakery begins serving bread
Since bread is one of the basic goods, and it has a major role in promoting sustainable development and social stability, and after the completion of the restoration and rehabilitation works of the Al-Maliha bakery “Hall 6”, the bakery production line was tested with success. This was implemented by GOPA-DERD’s team, in cooperation with ZOA.
It is worth noting that the restoration and rehabilitation works carried out over a period of 75 days included civil, architectural, electrical and sanitary works. In addition, the new automated line was supplied, installed and operated to production a bread with a capacity of 15 tons of flour within 24 working hours.
Al-Maliha bakery restoration and rehabilitation project is considered one of the vital projects that aim to enhance the infrastructure and improve the efficiency and quality of bread production to meet the needs of the local community within the Al-Maliha area and the surrounding villages.
