Towards Sustainable Education: GOPA-DERD’s Team Continues School Rehabilitation
Based on the urgent need to improve the reality of vocational education for girls, GOPA-DERD’s team implemented restoration and rehabilitation project of the Sixth Vocational Secondary School for Clothing Sewing in the Al-Arqoub neighborhood of Aleppo city, in cooperation with UNHCR.
The restoration work included rehabilitating the damaged building, improving the school’s infrastructure through the implementation of integrated construction work, maintaining the various facilities and upgrading the basic equipment, in order to provide a safe and qualified educational environment that ensures the continuity of the educational process, which will positively impact the academic and professional future of the students.
