GOPA-DERD’s team continues to provide humanitarian support to those displaced from Lebanon.
In continuation of the initial response and providing humanitarian support to those displaced from Lebanon, GOPA-DERD’s Community Center’s team in Raqqa, distributed NFIs kits that included mattresses, blankets, kitchen tools and solar-powered lamps.
GOPA-DERD’s “DARB” Center’s team in Al-Tabqa city in Raqqa provided a set of services to those displaced from Lebanon, including first-aid and the necessary medical consultations for pregnant women.
In addition, blood pressure and diabetes medications, dignity kits for women and drinking water were distributed.
Our team also carried out field visits to shelters in the city of Al-Qusayr and its rural areas in Homs, where the team continued to provide psychosocial first-aid to the arriving families, in cooperation with UNFPA.
GOPA-DERD’s team also implemented various recreational activities for children, and provided a set of hygiene materials to ensure a healthy and clean environment in the shelters. This took place in cooperation with UNFPA.
