Coinciding with the holiday season and thirty-first anniversary of the establishment of GOPA-DERD … various initiatives and activities took place in Latakia.
On the occasion of Christmas and as part of the celebrations of the thirty-first anniversary of the establishment of GOPA-DERD, the team in Latakia, implemented a set of initiatives and activities.
In the city, GOPA-DERD’s team distributed Christmas gifts and clothing provided by stores to families in need.
GOPA-DERD’s Community Center’s team, also organized a recreational activity for children with special needs and their caregivers, which included the distribution of gifts to the children. This took place in cooperation with UNHCR.
In a related context, GOPA-DERD’s team in Jableh, implemented several recreational activities for children. In addition, gifts were presented by Santa Claus in an atmosphere of joy and happiness.
