As part of the activities marking the 31st anniversary of the ‎establishment of GOPA-DERD, GOPA-DERD’s ‎team in Homs organizes a basketball tournament.

“Under the slogan “Homs, City of Peace” and as part of the activities marking the 31st anniversary of the establishment of GOPA-DERD, the team in Homs organized a basketball tournament with the participation of youth groups from the city and its rural. The participants were divided into six teams, competing in an enthusiastic and energetic atmosphere.

Over the course of three weeks, the tournament witnessed intense competition among the six teams. The championship concluded with the crowning of the Armenian Neighborhood’s Team as the tournament winner, along with honoring the referees, players, and outstanding teams, amid joy and appreciation for all participants who embodied the values of happiness and cooperation through sports.
