After restoration... Dael's bakery returns to life and produces bread

As a step towards enhancing local self-sufficiency and affirming every individual’s right to safe and accessible food, and after the completion of the restoration and ‎rehabilitation works of Dael bakery, the bakery production line was tested with success. This was implemented by GOPA-DERD’s team, in cooperation with SHF, and in the presence of the mayor and members of the local community.

It is worth noting that the restoration and rehabilitation works ‎carried out over a period of 75 days included civil, ‎architectural, electrical and sanitary works. In addition, the ‎new automated line was supplied, installed, operated and implemented within 45 days, to ‎production a bread with a capacity of 15 tons of flour within 24 ‎working hours.‎

Dael bakery restoration and rehabilitation project is ‎considered one of the vital projects, that aim to enhance the ‎infrastructure and improve the efficiency and quality of bread ‎production to meet the needs of the local community, as it will benefit more than 90,000 individuals in the Dael area and the surrounding villages.
