Improving Living Conditions and Promoting Public Health: Priorities in the Response to Those Arriving to Daraa
As part of the humanitarian response aimed at improving living conditions of families arriving from As-Swieda Governorate to rural Daraa, and with the aim of promoting public health to prevent and reduce the spread of diseases, GOPA-DERD’s team in Daraa, in cooperation with Samaritan’s Purse, distributed more than 5,000 hygiene kits in the areas and villages of Smad, Samj, Jamrin, Busra al-Sham, Ma’araba, al-Maliha al-Gharbiya and al-Sharqiya, Rakham, Nahta, Busra al-Harir, Izraa, Da’el, Ibtaa, Ghasm, al-Hirak, Khabbab, and al-Musayfira.
