The response continues .. GOPA-DERD’s team provides ‎humanitarian support to those arriving from Lebanon

In continuation of the initial response and providing humanitarian support to those arriving from Lebanon, GOPA-DERD’s “Darb” Center’s team visited the families residing in each of the two shelter centers in the city of Qusayr, the Monastery of St. Elias neighborhood in Jossieh, and the Holy Shrine of Our Lady in Rabla.

GOPA-DERD team provided first-aid, including the necessary medical consultations for pregnant women, various awareness sessions including psychological first aid, awareness on GBV and health. This took place in cooperation with UNFPA.

The visits also included recreational activities for women and children and the distribution of dignity kits to incoming women and girls.
