Upon invitation of DKH, GOPA-DERD top management visited the Director-General of the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid office of the EU in Brussels – Belgium. They discussed the situation of humanitarian work in Syria and the challenges facing its implementation, especially in light of Western sanctions imposed on Syria. GOPA-DERD delegation also met many Church organizations working in the humanitarian field.
